(und übrigens, Darren und Jayne sind nicht die einzigen die kommen, nur die einzigen die openid verstanden haben, RSVP/ Darren & Jayne aren’t the only ones coming, just the only ones who’ve figured out openid ).

Rings arrived.

Today I picked up the rings.

I want to start wearing mine now, to get used to it, but I supposed that would kind of break with tradition.

So everything is going reasonably to schedule.  We still have to sort out drinks, and we’re trying to decide whether it would be better to make the second room into a comfortable lounge for adults to sit around and talk late into the night, or pile up blankets, maybe a laptp with a film and make it into a place for the kids to crash.

Das Gelände auf dem wir feiern, liegt links unterhalb des A. Es ist umgeben von Wald und Wiesen. Durch das Gelände fließt ein kleiner Bach. Es gibt einen schönen Spielplatz für die Kinder. Aber auch im Gebäude ist viel Platz und wir sind ganz unter uns.
Wer öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nutzt, hat einen kleinen Fußweg durch den Wald vor sich. Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten:

1. U4 bis Botnang-Endstation, dann Bus 91 bis Botnang-Freibad, Fußweg ca. 10 min
2. U4 bis Haltestelle Beethovenstraße, dann ca. 30 min Fußwegdurch den Wald (sehr schön bei gutem Wetter)

(Wir werden die Fußwege jeweils mit Bändern markieren)

Für die Heimfahrt empfehlen wir ein Taxi. Rufnummer: 0711-566061

Let us know if you need help!  There’s bound to be accommodation in and around Stuttgart until the very last moment, but it might be pricey.  A suggestion is this place:

The Wedding

We are planing to get married with just immediate family at the registry office on the preceeding Friday, but we don’t have a booking yet, so it might be tricky!  We will do our very best to actually be married before we celebrate together on the Saturday, which includes considering a rushed-wedding in Søndborg Denmark, which we are reliably informed is possible inside 1 week.

The Party

The party starts at 14:00 at the Waldheim, which is kind of a kindergarten.  It’s in the forest, which means there’s lots of space for kids to run around and hurt themselves if it’s sunny.  Please don’t forget to RSVP.
